In Singapore’s competitive culture, adults are overworked, limiting their work-life balance and leaving little time for self-care. For pet owners, the lack of reliable pet care further restricts their ability to travel or take time off. This project responds by promoting emotional reassurance through a pet inclusive wellness retreat, allowing working adults to relax alongside their furkids . The concept, PlayPals, showcases nature-inspired spaces that encourage calmness, balance, companionship, and uplifting wellness experiences.

A simple, modern cafe with stone and concrete finishes , where owner can grab a drink and spend time with their pets.

A simple entrance area that guides customers to the cafe or reception area of the second storey spa .

05. Pet Grooming Salon

A simple white and beige toned pet grooming spa for pets .

06. Onsen Bath

A pet-friendly, inclusive onsen experience inspired by traditional Japanese baths. This allows both pets and their owners to enjoy a warm and relaxing soak together in their individual private tubs.

Cafe seating area featuring a small central water pond and a double-height space to create an open, air atmosphere. Wooden materials are incorporated to bring natural elements into the space, adding warmth and outdoor feel.
